To be a woman in your forties, I think it's a fantastic decade.

I think my days of trying outrageous things are over. I'm not looking for trends, I just want to be the best version of myself.

I've learned so much from being a mom about the kind of person I want to be, the kind of woman I want to be. Motherhood has taught me mindfulness. If you just parent on instinct, you'll screw your kid up for life. You have to be so mindful.

I'm trying to be good with my skin care now that I'm getting older. I really do think it's from the inside - so exercise, hydration, sleep, sex.

I was having such a hard time when I made Sylvia. I gave everything I had for that role. It's one or two or three things I'm most proud of in terms of my work. But it was very dark.

I don't have time to devote to putting outfits together before picking up the kids. I'm a creature of habit and in that way, I tend to just go towards what works for me and what's comfortable. It's really important to be comfortable when you're running around after kids.

If we were living in ancient Rome or Greece, I would be considered sickly and unattractive. The times dictate that thin is better for some strange reason, which I think is foolish.
