Personally, I like to hang out in the kitchen. That's my safe space in a party environment. I feel like it's a little quieter so you can actually have conversations with people, and anybody else who's also in the kitchen is probably someone I can have a decent conversation with.

Surround yourself with people that you know will take care of you. It's not so much a mistake advice - it's just advice advice.

I think the best way to crash a stranger's party would be to arrive as the pizza person, buy pizza, buy some sort of pizza shirt, walk in like you're delivering the pizza, put it down and proceed to party while eating the pizza.

You really think your life is going to go a certain way sometimes, and then sometimes something amazing happens just out of the sheer generosity and kindness and faith of others and I never anticipated that I would have the chance to make my dreams come true.
