The ECK books are simply to show people how to go inside themselves, into the pureness of their heart, where they can get answers directly from the Inner Master about things of a spiritual nature, insights to help them in their life.

The EKC or Holy Spirit, can lift the most common beginning to the highest good. Yet to secceed, we must surrender our little self to achieve divine love.

True contemplation is reflecting on the blessings of God in your life.

People are usually too busy counting the things they don't have. They notice how much more money their neighbor has, how much further ahead in spiritual unfoldment someone else is, and so on. But if we stop to count our blessings, to realize how much we do have and be grateful for it, then the heart is kept open to love and all the gifts that love brings, including the possibility of healing.

It’s quite a discipline when we’re in trouble to think of God and say, “I need some help.”

Soul-the spiritual principle, the creative spark of God-cannot work if you panic. Anxiety shuts down the creative centers. When you can't think, whatever you try to do becomes one blunder piled upon another. If you slow down, the spiritual principle can begin working through you so that you can figure out the solution to the problem that is bothering you.

If one gets his life together, there will be enough love and bounty to take care of every avenue of life.
