We teach children to save their money. As an attempt to counteract thoughtless and selfish expenditure, that has value. But it is not positive; it does not lead the child into the safe and useful avenues of self-expression or self-expenditure. To teach a child to invest and use is better than to teach him to save.

Since we do not take a man on his past history, we do not refuse him because of his past history. I never met a man who was thoroughly bad. There is always some good in him if he gets a chance.

We are here for experience, and experience is a preparation to know the Truth when we meet it.

The time will come when man will know even what is going on in the other planets and perhaps be able to visit them.

Progress is not made by pulling off a series of stunts. Each step has to be regulated. A man cannot expect to progress without thinking.

Economy has frequently nothing whatever to do with the amount of money being spent, but with the wisdom used in spending it.

To do more for the world than the world does for you - that is success.
