I think what President [Barack] Obama has done is to chart a steady course. When I was there, the first four years we had a lot of cleanup to do. We inherited a lot of bad feelings from the [George W.] Bush administration, and much of what I spent my time doing was traveling around the world reassuring friends and allies.

There is no formula that I'm aware of for being a successful or fulfilled woman today.

Unfortunately, race still determines too much, often determines where people live, determines what kind of education in their public schools they can get, and, yes, it determines how they're treated in the criminal justice system.

We have a lot that we believe is in the best interests of our country,and I'm looking forward to working with Barack Obama during the campaign and then on after the inauguration.

I do remember being young.

The United States has, unfortunately, been victimized by terrorism going back decades.

America can only live up to its potential when each and every American has the chance to live up to your potential, too.
