I can't stand whining. I can't stand the kind of paralysis that some people fall into because they're not happy with the choices they've made. You live in a time when there are endless choices ... Money certainly helps, and having that kind of financial privilege goes a long way, but you don't even have to have money for it. But you have to work on yourself ... Do something!

I think it's fair to say that diplomacy today requires much more of that if you're the United States of America than it did 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago.

We have to work to make sure that our police are using the best training, the best techniques, that they're well prepared to use force only when necessary.

Refraining from violence is not a sign of weakness in one's faith but a sign that one's faith is unshakeable

The only wealth I have to give, is not material - and if you need much more than that, I'm not available.

My opponent misses something important. When we say America is exceptional, it doesn`t mean that people from other places don`t feel deep national pride, just like we do. It means that we recognize America`s unique and unparalleled ability to be a force for peace and progress.

I prepared to be president. And I think that's a good thing.
