I wouldn't take up arms. I think that might be a little extreme.

I understand it. People are very willing to say things about me, to make accusations about me that are - I don't get upset about them anymore, but they are very regrettable.

I would hope that the Senate would do its job and confirm the nominee that President [Barack] Obama has sent to them. That's the way the Constitution fundamentally should operate. The president nominates, and then the Senate advises and consents, or not, but they go forward with the process.

I do have investments, investments in new jobs, investments in education, skill training, and the opportunities for people to get ahead and stay ahead. That's the kind of approach that will work.
