Tunnels, our ports, our airports - they need work. And there are millions of jobs to be done.

I'm really lucky to have the kind of people I've got around me. I've got such a great group of predominantly young people, but so diverse, and they bring different perspectives to the table. They will tell me exactly what's on their mind.

I would like to save lives. Now you know, the gun lobby will say, "You can't stop everybody." And I would agree with that: You can't stop everybody. Isn't it worth stopping as many as possible, saving as many lives as we can? And I think comprehensive background checks and trying to keep guns outta the wrong hands would help us do that.

Fear is always with us, but we just don't have time for it. Not Now!

It really is a choice between division or unity, between an economy that works for everyone or one that is stacked for those at the top, between strong, steady leadership or a loose cannon.

You shouldn't have a profit motivation to fill prison cells with young Americans.

I think that like most people I know, I have a range of views, but they are rooted in my values and experience.
