I was somewhat confused when senator [Bernie] Sanders said, well, you know, Planned Parenthood and Human Rights Campaign, they`re part of the establishment.

What I would like to see is for people to come together and say: Of course we're going to protect and defend the Second Amendment. But we're going to do it in a way that tries to save some of these 33,000 lives that we lose every year.

Everybody in the government with whom I emailed knew that I was using a personal email, and I have said it would have been a better choice to have had two separate email accounts. And I've also tried to not only take responsibility, because it was my decision, but to be as transparent as possible.

When it comes to foreign policy, it is important to remember that politics stops at the water's edge.

It is important to recognize the limited ability of the legal system to prescribe and enforce the quality of social arrangements.

One thing we know for sure is that change is certain. Progress is not. Progress depends on the choices we make today for tomorrow and on whether we meet our challenges and protect our values.

We also have to recognize, in addition to the challenges that we face with policing, there are so many good, brave police officers who equally want reform.
