I don't want [to work] people who agree with me. I want honest, spirited, hard-working, patriotic people who want to be part of a team, the American team.

The safe haven that al-Qaida has found in Pakistan is very troubling.

We don't think about women being leaders.

We do have to worry about North Korea. They continue to develop their nuclear weapons capability, and they're working very hard on their ballistic missile capability.

Laws and traditions that hold back women, hold back entire societies.
