I'm one of these very focused people when it comes to day-to-day work, and I'm trying not to think about what comes next so that I can stay very focused on what I'm doing now.

I'll lift up the good work that is happening and hold officers or departments that engage in unconstitutional policing accountable.

I am not taking a position on any policy, but I do think there is a growing sense of anxiety and even anger in America over the feeling that the game is rigged. And I never had that feeling when I was growing up. Never.

The first step is to take weapons off the streets and to put more police on them.

In America, we will have secure borders, but we'll also have reform.

Showing up is not all of life - but it counts for a lot.

Whether I am meant to or not, I challenge assumptions about women. I do make some people uncomfortable, which I'm well aware of, but that's just part of coming to grips with what I believe is still one of the most important pieces of unfinished business in human history - empowering women to be able to stand up for themselves.
