We've got to do everything we can to vacuum up intelligence from Europe, from the Middle East. That means we've got to work more closely with our allies, and that's something that Donald [Trump] has been very dismissive of.

When you're the presidential nominee you get to pick whomever you choose to be on the ticket, and that person gets to say yes or no because, obviously, it's a very important decision.

We are Americans, We have the right to participate and debate any administration.

I think we have to face the reality that in a society where there is a legitimate threat of terrorism, not being able to see one's face, not being able to have some sense of communication in that way, is for many societies a challenge.

Donald Trump said women should be punished, that there should be some form of punishment for women who obtain abortions. And I could just not be more opposed to that kind of thinking.

I want to see more companies do profit-sharing. If you help create the profits, you should be able to share in them, not just the executives at the top.

I don't want [to work] people who agree with me. I want honest, spirited, hard-working, patriotic people who want to be part of a team, the American team.
