I have met thousands and thousands of pro-choice men and women. I have never met anyone who is pro-abortion.

Nine million people - nine million people lost their jobs [in 2008]. Five million people lost their homes. And $13 trillion in family wealth was wiped out.Now, we have come back from that abyss. And it has not been easy.

I can't speculate on what did or did not happen. I only know what I said and what I intended to convey.

I'll end discriminatory laws like the Hyde Amendment that make it all but impossible for low-income women - disproportionately, women of color - to exercise their rights.

My feeling is if you're going to be a leader, you have to carefully assess where people are and where people want to go.

America already is great, but we are great because we are good, and we will respect one another, and we will work with one another, and we will celebrate our diversity.

Just as women's rights are human rights, women's progress is human progress.
