I don't want to get into an insult fight with Donald Trump.

We do always have to make sure we keep people safe.

I want us to do more to support people who are struggling to balance family and work. I've heard from so many of you about the difficult choices you face and the stresses that you're under. So let's have paid family leave, earned sick days. Let's be sure we have affordable child care and debt-free college.

There is no doubt that the increasing numbers of women in the economy has helped fuel significant growth everywhere. And economies that are making the shift more effectively and rapidly are dramatically outperforming those that have not.

I hope America does not accept the kind of language that Donald Trump is using to describe our fellow Americans.

I don't recognize this new brand of Republicanism that's afoot now, which I consider to be very reactionary, not conservative in many respects.

I've worked with a lot of different Muslim groups around America. I've met with a lot of them, and I've heard how important it is for them to feel that they are wanted and included and part of our country, part of our homeland security, and that's what I want to see.
