When you guys go into some kind of a deal, you know, are you going to do that development or not, are you going to do that renovation or not, you know, you look at the numbers. You try to figure out what's going to work and what's not going to work.

Caring for others is an expression of what it means to be fully human.

Bringing undocumented immigrants out from the shadows, putting them into the formal economy will be good, because then employers can't exploit them and undercut Americans' wages.

...but we also know that to be educated, the goal of it must be human liberation-liberation enabling each of us to fulfill our capacity so as to be free to create within and around ourselves.
