In every religion, there are those who would drape themselves in the mantle of belief and faith only to distort it's most sacred teachings - preaching intolerance and resorting to violence.

I think if we work together, if we overcome the divisiveness that sometimes sets Americans against one another, and instead we make some big goals, there's nothing in my opinion that America can't do.

I'm very proud and grateful to have the support of so many elected Vermonters and former officials. Two former governors, the current governor, the current other senator. I really appreciate that.And I think it's because they've worked with me, they've seen what I do. They know what kind of a colleague I am. They want me as their partner in the White House. And that's exactly what I will do.

You cannot be afraid to present yourself. And sometimes that takes practice. If you're not comfortable with public speaking - and nobody starts out comfortable, you have to learn how to be comfortable - practice. I cannot overstate the importance of practicing. Get some close friends or family members to help evaluate you, or somebody at work that you trust.

Every single child should have the chance to live up to his or her God-given potential.
