It's important to take criticism seriously - not personally.

I care deeply about women's rights. I have been an outspoken advocate for them for many years and as secretary of state I carried that message around the world because empowering women, providing for women's rights, their full participation in society, politics, the economy is not only a matter of individuals being able to chart their own futures. It's good for democracy and it's good for peace and prosperity.

We have to make the economy fairer. That starts with raising the national minimum wage and also guarantee, finally, equal pay for women's work.

My wish for the new millennium is for all children... to grow up wiser, and stronger and more prosperous for the future than ever before.

If we don't rebuild that connection with people we will really find even bigger gaps, because our gap on inequality is not just economic.

I hope we will come together as a nation and do whatever it takes to keep guns away from people who have no business with them.

Drug companies should not be allowed to reap excessive profits or spend unreasonable amounts on marketing if they want to receive support that is designed to encourage life- saving and health-improving treatments.
