I believe, and that is that I am the strongest candidate to take it to the Republicans and win in November [2016].

The government has no business in the decisions that women make with their families in accordance with their faith, with medical advice. And I will stand up for that right.

My view is that, you know, life unfolds at its own rhythm. You know, I have never lived a life that I thought I could plan out. And I'm just trying to do the best I can every day. I find I have a lot to get done between the time I get up and the time I go to bed.

We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own ... in order to create this common ground.

I bring the experiences of women. As a daughter, as a mother, as a wife, as a sister. That is who I am. Those experiences are part of me. And it is part of our American journey that we have moved through so much of what used to hold people back because of gender, because of race.

I've had extraordinary good luck with my health, other than a broken elbow.

After 9/11, I went to work with Republican mayor, governor and president to rebuild New York and to get health care for our first responders who were suffering because they had run toward danger and gotten sickened by it. Hundreds of thousands of National Guard and Reserve members have health care because of work that I did, and children have safer medicines because I was able to pass a law that required the dosing to be more carefully done.
