Fail to plan, plan to fail.

Well I think in a marriage you have to be honest and ask yourself, you know, what is my role? What is my responsibility?

My view is that, you know, life unfolds at its own rhythm. You know, I have never lived a life that I thought I could plan out. And I'm just trying to do the best I can every day. I find I have a lot to get done between the time I get up and the time I go to bed.

If I believed in polls, I wouldn't get up in the morning.

When my husband was president, we went from a $300 billion deficit to a $200 billion surplus and we were actually on the path to eliminating the national debt. When President Obama came into office, he inherited the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression. He has cut the deficit by two-thirds.

I'm going to keep talking about what I would do as president, the experience that I bring, the temperament and judgment that led President [Barack] Obama to ask me to be secretary of state after we ran a really hard primary against each other. It's funny to me, because when I have a position, whether it's first lady, or senator, or secretary of state, and I'm doing the work, I'm really quite popular.

We need to have strong growth, fair growth, sustained growth.
