I’ve got to do something about the way I look. I mean a girl just can’t go to Sing Sing with a green face.

Any work I do I think is important...like in acting there are no small parts- only small actors.

Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away.

There's not one thing in particular that influences my music, but I write about what I know. It's based in personal experience. That's not to say all the songs are biographical, because sometimes it's what I've seen in others' lives.
