One of my regrets would be that I will never again have the pleasure of sneaking into a cafe, any cafe I like, sitting down and diving into my world and no one knowing what I am doing and no one bothering about me and being totally anonymous, that was fantastic
J. K. RowlingOh, come off it,โ said Ron, striding over to her and whipping her results out of her hand. โYepโ ten โOutstandingsโ and one โExceeds Expectationsโ at Defense Against the Dark Arts.โ He looked down at her, half-amused, half-exasperated. โYouโre actually disappointed, arenโt you?
J. K. RowlingYou know, I donโt get why Fred and George only got three O.W.L.s each,โ said Harry, watching as Fred, George, and Lee collected gold from the eager crowd. โThey really know their stuff. . . .โ โOh, they only know flashy stuff thatโs no real use to anyone,โ said Hermione disparagingly. โNo real use?โ said Ron in a strained voice. โHermione, theyโve got about twenty-six Galleons already. . . .
J. K. RowlingPromise me youโll look after yourself โฆ stay out of trouble โฆโ โI always do, Mrs Weasley,โ said Harry. โI like a quiet life, you know me.
J. K. RowlingWhere are you heading, if youโve got the choice?โ James lifted an invisible sword. โโGryffindor, where dwell the brave at heart!โ Like my dad.โ Snape made a small, disparaging noise. James turned on him. โGot a problem with that?โ โNo,โ said Snape, though his slight sneer said otherwise. โIf youโd rather be brawny than brainy โโ โWhereโre you hoping to go, seeing as youโre neither?โ interjected Sirius.
J. K. RowlingHe's a funny man, Dumbledore. I think he sort of wanted to give me a chance. I think he knows more or less everything that goes on here, you know. I reckon he had a pretty good idea we were going to try, and instead of stopping us, he just taught us enough to help. I don't think it was an accident he let me find out how the Mirror worked. It's almost like he thought I had the right to face Voldemort if I could.
