In some ways you become who you really are, if you work hard enough on who you wish to be.

I’ve always liked Saturn. But I also have some sympathy for Pluto because I heard it’s been downgraded from a planet, and I think it should remain a planet. Once you’ve given something planetary status it’s kind of mean to take it away.

Learn to laugh at your problems, cause everybody else does.

It's nice to be able to communicate digitally with people around the world.

Alessandro [Michele] has really done the impossible. He's taken this classic brand [Gucci] and really turned it completely around and taken it in a direction that was so unexpected. [Alessandro and I] met and became friends here in L.A., and then we got to know each other and he asked me to do this. It was really organic and not the way this stuff normally happens.

I learned early on how to treat women by the examples that were set around me.

I just think it's really important to be yourself and not trying to be something you're not.
