I understand that coffee and cigarettes are cool, fashionable and all that. But agree the tea with cookies still taste better.

Teens are always shown as one dimensional. They're stereotyped. When I was in high school, I cared about more than getting a date or making the team.

I understand a lot of the female needs. I'm not saying I know all of them all the time though.

I come from a visual background, and I grew up around a lot of hippies and artists. My mom and my brother and I moved around a lot. We basically moved every couple of years, and I went to a lot of different schools. But creativity, for us, was always a way of life. It was never a job. Being an artist was a passion and a way of life.

High school is a dark place; I hung out with ‘freaks.’

I like to employ the power of no. We all want to say yes, because with yes comes so much opportunity, but with the power of no comes focus and engagement.
