I would love to direct a movie, something I really like with a great cast. What a dream!

You tend to be afraid when someone seems foreign to you. But if you aren't careful, that can lead to bigotry.

We gave up having a TV last year. I am out of the loop. Life is way better than TV. I recommend it to anyone who has forgotten they have one.

Our history is a passion for me. I feel that we leave out so much information and huge gaps in the American story and it makes it hard for people to really understand that we are all intricately related as Americans. So I am attracted to historically based projects because we entertain and learn something at the same time. I just love that combination.

If one is desperate for love, I suggest looking at one's friends and family and see if love is all around. If not, get a new set of friends, a new family.

There is a child in all of us, a person who believes in a glorious future.

I meet so many people, but I don't know anybody.
