Creating the record is like digging up the earth, planting your seeds and waiting to see what happens.

As things grew for me I felt like I was losing myself and wanted to stay true to myself as well. I didn't want to lose any connection I had with the audience. I felt small on a big stage and I felt like I was peaking generically to an audience.

I use music and mantras that transform my thoughts from the negative to the positive. If I'm thinking the world is a horrible place, I can transform my life by saying, 'I won't give up', 'I won't worry my life away' and 'I won't hesitate no more', using these lyrics to change my experience. That is, I believe, what makes me seem like a positive person.

Timeless comes to mind. When you listen to it, you can't tell what year the thing was made. And you don't even care.

Careers can disappear just as quickly as they're made, so I'm in no hurry.
