Harry Reid was talking about soup lines, and Hillary Clinton was talking about the economy being on the verge of collapse. Yet, in the same breath, they say that Social Security is rock solid, and there's no crisis there. How are you going to work-you said you're going to reach out to these people-how are you going to work with people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?

Is there some truth out there? Yes. Is there a lot of falsehood out there? Absolutely.

What I hear about the book does not sound like the Scott McClellan I knew for two years. I can say, without fear of contradiction, that I knew Scott better than any other White House correspondent or Washington reporter.

I favor an aggressive expansion of America's intelligence capabilities domestically and around the world.

I answered their questions truthfully and honestly, but I would prefer not to say more. I assume the information was routed back and that is why I was not called to testify.

I'm sure I could fall in love with a Democrat as easily as a Republican. Some things transcend politics.
