When I was in my 20s I wasn't sure of myself. Now I can really stretch. I don't have to stay in the box. At this point I can say to myself, So what if I fall, so what? I'm going to get back up.

You have got to love yourself first. You have got to be ok on your own before you can be ok with somebody else. You have got to value yourself and know that you are worth everything.

And I never ask what I'm doing the next day. I don't want to know what I'm doing tomorrow. It's much too overwhelming. So I just go day by day, without knowing.

By nature I am not tough, believe it or not.

I don't get anything for free. I pay for all my beauty treatments.

If you don't love yourself, you can't love anybody else. And I think as women we really forget that.

I can't help but be a different person now that I've had kids. That really does change your whole perspective on life for the better. I definitely feel like I've grown up. So, I guess in a way parts of me are going to be different, but in general I'm still the same girl from the Bronx who had big dreams.
