I think one of the things the church service means is hope.

We [people] need to stop lumping folks together and start living together. Otherwise, we're going to kill each other off because you don't believe what I believe. That's crazy.

You should understand that private faith does not force public decisions. That's how you work at compromise. I haven't given up what I believe, but I live in community - in a city, state, nation, and world - with people who don't believe what I believe. That doesn't make them defective or inferior.

Barack Obama says what he has to say as a politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. But they're two different worlds.

Them Jews aren't going to let (Obama) talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office. ...They will not let him talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is.

The stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back into our own front yard! America's chickens are coming home to roost!

Being at odds with policies is nothing new to me.
