Every advance in this half-century-Social Security, civil rights, Medicare, aid to education, one after another-came with the support and leadership of American Labor.

Last night when I was commenting on the FBI and the CIA, the sound went off for 27 minutes. I should have known better.

Wherever life takes us, there are always moments of wonder.

My constant prayer, my number one foreign goal, is to bring peace to Israel. And in the process to Israel's neighbours.

One of the most serious problems that our country has inherited an unwillingness to talk to anyone who disagrees with us or who won't accept, before a discussion, all the premises that we demand.

It's politically impossible for any member of Congress to make a public statement condemning or criticizing the policies of Israel. It would be political suicidal for them to do so.
