Intelligence is to provide the facts to us. The facts will usually take you to the truth. And then, when we get the truth, we have got to make the decisions and do what's best for this country.

Well, you know, first of all, let me just say that I am a proud member of the NRA and have been, and I'm a lifetime member and will always be.

I've lost over 800 West Virginians the last year. Lost their lives to opiate and drug addiction. This is something that we've got to fight. We need to have treatment centers that take care of people. We need to start basically education from kindergarten all the way through adulthood. We need to get involved and stop this epidemic that's going on that's just ravaging.

In West Virginia, the most vulnerable people we have are people who get up every morning and go to work.

I know firsthand how agonizing waiting can be.
