Don't ever criticize yourself. Don't go around all day long thinking, 'I'm unattractive, I'm slow, I'm not as smart as my brother.' God wasn't having a bad day when he made you... If you don't love yourself in the right way, you can't love your neighbour. You can't be as good as you are supposed to be.

When you go through a loss, a disappointment or a bad break up, don't expect to come out the same. Expect to come out better off than you were before.

I don't mind saying, you know, that I don't take a salary from the church, and God has blessed me with more money than I could imagine from my books.

Be a people builder. Look for opportunities to encourage others to bring out the best in them.

Don't live worried, frustrated or upset because of what somebody did or what didn't work out. Come back to a place of peace. It's not going to work against you; it's going to work for you.

Don’t fall in love with the blessings. Fall in love with the Blessor. Seek first the Kingdom & God will reward you!

I think God gives every one of us our own will, and unfortunately, some people choose to do evil things with it.
