I DECLARE I am special and extraordinary. I am not average! I have been custom-made. I am one of a kind. Of all the things God created, what He is the most proud of is me. I am His masterpiece, his most prized possession. I will keep my head held high, knowing I am a child of the most high God, made in his very image. This is my declaration.

Friend, there's no greater investment in life than in being a people builder. Relationships are more important than our accomplishments.

Keep in mind, hurting people often hurt other people as a result of their own pain. If somebody is rude and inconsiderate, you can almost be certain that they have some unresolved issues inside. They have some major problems, anger, resentment, or some heartache they are trying to cope with or overcome.

Whether a person is straight or gay, Republican, Democrat, good person, not a good person, they're all welcome, because to me, church is a place you're supposed to get healed and whole and loved.

When I took over from my father, he came from the Southern Baptist background, and back 40-50 years ago, there was a lot more of that.I don't believe - maybe it was for a time. But I don't have it in my heart to condemn people. I'm there to encourage them.
