Be careful what you say. You can say something hurtful in ten seconds, but ten years later, the wounds are still there.

If you don't let people flourish in their jobs, why are they going to stay?

You're not better than anybody else, but you're not less than anybody else. You're a child of the Most High God.

If we don't forgive ourselves for mistakes we've made-and everybody's made their choices, some worse than others-we'll never experience the good life God has in store.

Too often we judge people based on our own backgrounds and experiences, but when you understand people's stories, it's easier to understand their demeanor.
