I'm not a big believer in trying to jam stuff down somebody's throat: 'You're going to do it my way.' I'd rather show by example and live my life and have people say, 'You know what, I want to live like Joel has. He's got peace and joy, and he seems content.'

You won't be free from guilt if you are constantly replaying the negative memories of your past. If you're going to replay anything, replay your victories!

If you’ll dare to take your mind off your troubles, get your mind off your own needs and, instead, seek to be a blessing to other people, God will do more for you than you could even ask or think.

When you go through difficult times...recognize that God is refining you, knocking off some of your rough edges.

When we don’t forgive, we’re not hurting the other person. We’re not hurting the company that did us wrong. We’re not hurting God. We’re only hurting ourselves.

Don’t fall in love with the blessings. Fall in love with the Blessor. Seek first the Kingdom & God will reward you!

When thoughts tell you it’s too late, dismiss them. You haven’t dreamed your best dream. You haven’t run your best race.
