Time flies, and what is past is done.

Every form correctly seen is beautiful

Distance... is like futurity. A dim vastness is spread before our souls; the perceptions of our mind are as obscure as those of our vision... But alas! when we have attained our object, when the distant 'there' becomes the present 'here,' all is changed; we are as poor and circumscribed as ever, and our souls still languish for unattainable happiness.

Who is sure of their own motives can in confidence advance or retreat.

How marvelous, wide and broad is my Inheritance! Time is my property, my estate is time.

I must consider more closely this cycle of good and bad days which I find coursing within myself. Passion, attachment, the urge to action, inventiveness, performance, order all alternate and keep their orbit; cheerfulness, vigor, energy, flexibility and fatigue, serenity as well as desire. Nothing disturbs the cycle for I lead a simple life, but I must still find the time and order in which I rotate.

No limit, no definition, may restrict the range or depth of the human spirit's passage into its own secrets or the world's.
