We Recognize No Sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus!

The Education of a Nation, instead of being confined to a few schools & Universities, for the instruction of the few, must become the National Care and expence, for the information of the Many.

The proposition that the people are the best keepers of their own liberties is not true. They are the worst conceivable, they are no keepers at all; they can neither judge, act, think, or will, as a political body.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.

You will ever remember that all the end of study is to make you a good man and a useful citizen.
