Not realizing what you want is a problem of knowledge. Not pursuing what you want is a problem of motivation. Not achieving what you want is a problem of persistence.

COMMUNICATION: If I had to pick a first rule of communication-the one practice above all others that opens the door to connecting with others-it would be to look for common ground. Too often people see communication as the process of transmitting massive amounts of information to other people. But that's the wrong picture. Communication is a journey. The more that people have in common, the better the chance that they can take that journey together.

You have to live with the people to know their needs, and you have to live with God to know how to solve them.

Always turn to God in the midst of your struggle and view people who offended you as an instruments of divine sovereignty.

Leader’s potential is determined by those closest to him.

Give God the first part of every day. Give God the first day of every week. Give God the first portion of your income. Give God the first consideration in every decision. Give God the first place in your life.

Don't worry about yesterday it ended last night at midnight.
