The plea for the predominance of learning to read in early school life because of the great importance attaching to literature seems to be a perversion.

Of all affairs, communication is the most wonderful.

Personality must be educated, and personality cannot be educated by confining its operations to technical and specialized things, or to the less important relationships of life. The phrase "think for one's self" is a pleonasm. Unless one does it for one's self, it isn't thinking.
