I have no rancor. I look forward, not backwards.

Some urge we do nothing because we can't be certain how bad the (climate) problem might become or they presume the worst effects are most likely to occur in our grandchildren's lifetime. I'm a proud conservative, and I reject that kind of live-for-today, 'me generation,' attitude. It is unworthy of us and incompatible with our reputation as visionaries and problem solvers. Americans have never feared change. We make change work for us.

Men and women serving in the military deserve better than what they're giving - what we're giving them. They don't know what they're going to be doing tomorrow.

The US does not involve itself in what is happening in the world's largest democracy, nor does it intend to do so.

I can't believe a guy that handsome wouldn't have some impact.

The question is not whether you would like to be president or not. The question is: Do you think you can win and do you want to run? And none of those are clear to me.

The American people want us to stop spending. And so let's just give them some certainty. Let's extend the tax - the existing tax cuts. And then let's give some more tax breaks to small businesses and large. And then maybe the American people will have some confidence.
