We give glory to God when we trust him to do what he has promised to do-especially when all human possibilities are exhausted. Faith glorifies God. That is why God planned for faith to be the way we are justified.

I am not a missionary, but I have wanted my life to count for the unreached peoples of the world.

All heroes are shadows of Christ

Sometimes people stumble over this vastness in relation to the apparent insignificance of man. It does seem to make us infinitesimally small. But the meaning of this magnitude is not mainly about us. It’s about God… The reason for ‘wasting’ so much space on a universe to house a speck of humanity is to make a point about our maker, not us.

It has to do with seeing God. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8).

I see no thread running through my work; I simply get on with my life and my painting.
