Out of the freedom from worry that God's generosity provides comes an impulse toward simplicity rather than accumulation.

After your basic needs are met, accumulated money begins to diminish your capacity for these pleasures rather than increase them. Buying things contributes absolutely nothing to the heart's capacity for joy.

Prosperity cannot be a proof of God's favor, since it is what the devil promises to those who worship him. (Matt. 4:9)

Seeing & savoring Jesus Christ is the most important seeing and savoring you'll ever do.
