Paradise will not be a hall of mirrors, it will be a display of majesty, and it won't be ours

The engagement of the heart in worship is the coming alive of the feelings and emotions and affections of the heart. Where feelings for God are dead, worship is dead.

My Paradise: With Christ. Not sinning. No pain. New earth. Precious in that order.

Some of you will die in the service of Christ. That will not be a tragedy. Treasuring life above Christ is a tragedy.

When I believe in Jesus, I am united to Christ. Therefore, what he did and achieved becomes mine by this union through faith alone. His righteous life is imputed to me. What Christ achieved is counted as mine.

Our deeds are not the basis of our salvation, they are the evidence of our salvation. They are not foundation, they are demonstration.

The best news of the Christian gospel is that the supremely glorious Creator of the universe has acted in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection to remove every obstacle between us and himself so that we may find everlasting joy in seeing and savoring his infinite beauty.
