It's not so important who starts the game but who finishes it.

If pursuing material things becomes your only goal, you will fail in so many ways. Besides, in time all material things go away.

1. Be on time. 2. Never criticize a teammate. 3. Never use profanity.

When I am through learning, I am through.

We should never let ambition cause us to sacrifice our integrity or diminish our efforts in other areas. However, we need to remember that we never reach a serious goal unless we have the intention of doing so.

What it comes down to, I believe, is that mentoring often involves telling people what they need to hear, rather than what they want to hear. When you are able to be humbly honest with someone about a situation with which you have personal experience-even if you risk angering or hurting that person-you are offering the most valuable gift of all.

You will never outperform your inner circle.
