The spirits, they intoxicate me. I watched them infiltrate my soul. They try to say it's too late for me. Once I was promised absolution, there's only one solution for my sins. And I blame this world, for making a good man evil. Now I ain't getting into heaven, if the devil has his way.

I could always write songs, act, get into politics, or stay home with the kids. But I've got to have some fun.

You can't win 'til you're not afraid to lose

You just stay the course, and do what it is that you do, and grow while you're doing it. Eventually it will either come full circle, or at least you'll go to bed at night happy.

It's a little hard for me to stand behind the walls of the great mansion and play rock and roll star. I feel the need to give back.

Piano playing is a dying art. I love the fact that I can be one guy with one instrument evoking an emotional and musical experience.

I like progress but I hate change.
