It is unfair for our hospitals to bear a hugely disproportionate burden for mandated emergency health treatment for illegal aliens.

Politicians must let voters know what they think about issues before the election. Judges should not.

The key thing is to ensure that we give the criminal-justice system the tools it needs, so that women's rights are turned into reality. It is not enough to say domestic violence is a crime ?- in order for the laws to be successful, lawyers and courts must have the necessary means to prosecute it.

It ought to be done by the elected officials themselves because they have the credibility. And it's not like we aren't willing to help.

It is true that, when an entitlement begins to be enjoyed by people, they like to keep it.
