I think Paul Newman had an amazing career. I also love what Tom Hanks has done. He has always made very grounded movies that have something to say. He has found a way to make blockbusters that are about something and that is what I want to do.

They tell you that at his age, all they do is eat, sleep, and poop. And what I've learned is they can actually do all three at the same time. Who knew?

Soap operas are such a great way to break-in to the industry. The diminishing landscape of daytime TV means its going to be harder for young talent to get discovered.
