Sometimes Queens' music is dark, but somehow it's ok to deliver it with a smile on your face because thing's are still going to kick in.

I think the notion of understanding each other is a relief. It's not a thing you get with everyone you hang out with.

Banks are kinda cool, you put some money in there. It should be kinda vaguely sexy, but it's not.

I think music is a selfish masturbatory event - for the listener, the maker, the candlestick...maker.

I think people listen to whatever they think is good.

I like to write about things that are dark or twisted. Where the poetry seems to be is when you start in the dark and reach for the light - that's what makes it not depressing to me.

It's fun to toy around with press stuff a little bit, because in many ways it's not a real world.
