I don't want to create responsible shows with lawyers in them. I want to invade people's dreams.

Ultimately what I end up writing about is helplessness and the flipside of that, empowerment.

We need narrative; it feeds us in a particular way, and deconstructing it completely before you've actually experienced it, I think it leaves us unfed.

I go to movies expecting to have a whole experience. If I want a movie that doesn't end I'll go to a French movie. A movie has to be complete within itself, it can't just build off the first one or play variations.

Live all of your life. Understand it, see it, appreciate it. And have fun.
