One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is time alone with God.

Average is very acceptable in our society but I don't think the angels are applauding. If you are determined to be excellent, to not back out of it, you will reap a harvest in your life.

Battles are fought in our minds every day. When we begin to feel the battle is just too difficult and want to give up, we must choose to resist negative thoughts and be determined to rise above our problems. We must decide that we're not going to quit. When we're bombarded with doubts and fears, we must take a stand and say: "I'll never give up! God's on my side. He loves me, and He's helping me! I'm going to make it!"

Regret is distress over a desire unfulfilled or an action performed or not performed.

God is good, and He cannot be anything else.

We need to glance at our problems and stare at Jesus!

You don't need to know what tomorrow holds; all you need to know is the One who holds tomorrow.
