Patience is a fruit that only grows under trials.

If you can manage to be thankful in every situation, really believing that God is working everything out for your good, you will end up with the victory every single time.

Your value should not be determined by how somebody else has treated you.

I had lots of hurt and lots of pain, lots of woundedness, bruises, broken heartedness in my life. I was abused sexually by my father, abused mentally, emotionally. My mom didn't know what to do about it, and she was being hurt in the process. So she just didn't deal with it. And I can guarantee you, just because you don't deal with something, that doesn't make it go away.

I think we need to get smart enough to do what's going to help us and not just continue to do things that are going to hurt us. It's pretty easy to read something or hear about it in a message, but it's that personal application of that where it's just you, God, and your problems, that are going to give you the power to get stronger and stronger.

Life is sometimes very complicated, but we can purposely learn to enjoy the simple yet powerful and beautiful things God has created!
